Sad News: Leicester city FC find a replacement for him

“Very different from the club I fell in love with”: Our reason for becoming members of the Foxes Trust

With Leicester City facing charges from the Premier League last month for allegedly violating Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR), membership in the Foxes Trust, which is linked with the FSA, has increased by more than 60%. Some of those new members explain why they joined in this section.

Since Leicester City feels like a galaxy away from the team I fell in love with, I’ve joined the Foxes Trust. Years of on-field success and spectacular trophy-winning highs have frequently felt like a trade-off for identity, fan culture, and supporter treatment. We now envy the forward-thinking teams that play in the same leagues and areas as us. The football team’s highest management sit almost anonymously, shielded from criticism and held accountable for a plethora of plots and practices that distance the team from the city and community it is supposed to represent.

The fanbase has been diluted and feels completely manufactured, prioritising those who can contribute most to the runaway costs they leak out in their day-to-day operations and alienating those who can’t.

Foxes Trust membership enables positive, peaceful action from all fans, aiming to vastly improve the standard of service Leicester City provides to its supporters.

That’s supporters, not customers.

Tom I’ve been a passionate fan of Leicester City FC since Jock Wallace’s time, and I’ve seen the ascent of icons like Gary Lineker. As such, I’ve felt every emotion that a football fan can feel. My loyalty to the Foxes is strong, having experienced both the sorrow of relegations and financial hardship as well as the exhilaration of winning the Premier League.
