The Las Vegas Raiders announced on Tuesday that they have signed three additional players to reserve/future contracts, little over a week after they had signed fifteen players to such terms. Tyreque Jones, a safety, and Tyreik McAllister, a running back, were both signed by the team to reserve/future contracts. The Cincinnati Bengals signed Brown as an undrafted free agent in 2022, but the team dismissed him in August of the same year. The Seattle Seahawks signed him just two days later.
In 2023, the 25-year-old made just eight offensive snaps and seven special teams snaps in his lone game with Seattle. In November, Brown was released by the Seahawks. On January 1, he signed a practice squad deal with the Arizona Cardinals; however, he did not sign a reserve or future contract. Brown redshirted his freshman year and went on to play for four years at the University of Mississippi. Brown gained recognition as one of the top players in the country after switching from guard to center. Sadly, midway through his senior season, he suffered a biceps tear that ended his collegiate career. As a result, Brown’s draft value plummeted and he was not selected.
The Tennessee Titans signed Jones, another undrafted free agent, in May of last year. He was brought to the practice squad by the New York Jets after being waived as part of the August roster cuts. He was picked up two days later. Jones was published by New York in October. Jones was added to the practice squad of the Indianapolis Colts in less than a week. Jones attended Boise State University for six years, where he finished his college career with two All-Mountain West Honorable Mention selections.
