Pascal Siakam of Toronto was fouled with 1.4 seconds remaining, and his team was down three points. Although he purposefully missed the second free shot after making the first, the Raptors were unable to control the rebound.

The Celtics won their sixth straight game with 21 points, five rebounds, and seven assists from Derrick White. For Boston, Jrue Holiday scored 15 points and Luke Kornet scored 20.

With 30 points and 10 rebounds, Scottie Barnes led the Raptors. Jakob Poeltl contributed 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Siakam ended with 27 points.

After three quarters, Toronto was down 13 points, but in the fourth, they scored 18 of the first 21 points. With 47.1 seconds remaining, Barnes’ 3-pointer knotted the game at 116-116 for Toronto. However, 32.6 seconds later, a Kornet slam gave the Celtics a 118-116 advantage that they would not give up.
