Following the Week 15 loss, Green Bay Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur Makes a Significant Announcement Regarding Joe Barry
After losing badly to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 34–20 at home, the Green Bay Packers are currently 6–8. The defensive unit, which included its eight first-round selections (excluding Jaire Alexander), did not perform as well as Jordan Love and the offense did in terms of laying a solid basis for their future in Green Bay.
For the last three seasons, the Joe Barry-led defense has, in fact, been the scourge of Packers supporters. The defense consistently managed to give up the big play at the wrong moment, even in seasons when the Packers were winning thirteen games.
Regretfully, the defense of the Packers has appeared to be outmatched in most of its recent games. Even in their opening victory in an amazing three-game winning run against the Los Angeles Chargers, the Packers were fortunate to have their opponents miss two easy touchdown throws.
Several people were clamoring for Barry to be stripped of his duties after the offense surrendered 34 points and more than 400 yards of total offense against the Buccaneers on Sunday. But Matt LaFleur, the head coach, says that’s not going to happen.
