GOOD NEWS: Cleveland browns has made the best signing ever by signing The Raiders key player $400m
Interviews being held by the Browns coaching staff for a position that is still open
Ryan Crow is interviewing to be the defensive line coach under Ben Bloom.
Even though the Cleveland Browns have not released any formal information, they are actively hiring coaches. Even if there have been reports, we also need to take the news as possibly hearsay about the Browns coaching staff. Chris Kiffin was supposed to have left Cleveland a few years prior, but he stayed on for an additional year.
On Wednesday, there were rumors that T.C. McCartney, the TE coach, Stump Mitchell, and the offensive coordinator, Alex Van Pelt, were fired. Then, there was a rumor or claim that former NFL great running back Duce Staley, who was just hired as an assistant head coach, was already in the area for an interview.
The most recent information on Cleveland’s coaching staff is less clear:
It makes sense for the Tennessee Titans to let Ryan Crow speak with the Browns as they are currently looking for a new head coach. Ben Bloom, Cleveland’s defensive line coach, is the source of the issue.
Other sources state that Bloom’s situation is now uncertain.
According to the aforementioned story, Bloom, if he returns at all, will not be taking on the position of defensive line coach in 2019. He has spent two stints with the Browns, the most recent one being in 2020. He was retained from the staff of former DC Joe Woods, therefore last year was his first year under DC Jim Schwartz.
The Cleveland defense line was seen to be the team’s most improved component and a major factor in the team’s 11-2023 victory total. Despite Schwartz and Bloom’s lack of past interactions, the outcomes were encouraging.
Crow and Schwartz were teammates with the Titans in 2021 and 2022, thus they have two years of experience together. After spending three seasons as a defensive coordinator, he has coached Tennessee’s outside linebackers for the past three years.
