Dolphins Supporters Comment on Chris Grier and Mike McDaniel’s Return…

Fans who haven’t seen a playoff victory since Bill Clinton’s presidency were not pleased by the announcement.

The Miami Dolphins’ season came to an embarrassing end on Sunday as they lost to the New York Jets 32–10. After that, it might seem unlikely that a Dolphins fan’s day could get any worse, but, hey, when you keep falling, it’s difficult to know when you’ve hit your lowest point. The team released a statement from owner Stephen Ross hours after the Meadowlands game concluded, following All-Pro Phins wide receiver Tyreek Hill’s declaration that he wanted to leave Miami after having already left the game for no apparent reason. The statement stated that head coach Mike McDaniel and general manager Chris Grier would return to lead the 2025–26 team.

To put it nicely, Dolphins ardent supporters, who haven’t had a playoff triumph since Bill Clinton was president, were not pleased with the announcement. The sportstelligentsia also didn’t find it easy to accept the move. As the tweets flew, you could practically hear the gears grinding.
