Bengals re-sign Joe Bachie and Cal Adomitis

The Bengals return two players of their own.

The Cincinnati Bengals announced on Monday that they had re-signed unrestricted free agent linebacker Joe Bachie and exclusive rights free agent long snapper Cal Adomitis to one-year contracts for the 2024 campaign.

The Bengals signed Adomitis, a third-year athlete from the University of Pittsburgh, as a collegiate free agency in 2022. He has participated in 35 Bengals games (both regular season and postseason), delivering zero unplayable snaps on 288 attempts since replacing Clark Harris, who retired after suffering a season-ending injury in Game 1 of 2022. In the 2021 offseason, the fifth-year Michigan State player Bachie was acquired by the Bengals from the Philadelphia Eagles via waivers. Over the previous three seasons, he has participated in 35 regular-season games for the Bengals (two starts), earning 32 tackles on defense, one pass deflection, and 11 special teams tackles.
